Vita
Dominik Reipka was born in 1970 in Hamburg and grew up in Rotterdam and Karlsruhe.
He studied geography in Heidelberg from 1992 to 1994. In the meantime he photographed for newspapers and worked for an industry
photographer. When he finished his intermedia diploma he went to Berlin to study photodesign at the reputable LETTE - Verein.
Subsequently he assisted to two well known german photographers mostly in car and advertising photography.
Since 2000 Domnik Reipka works as freelance photographer for numerous companies, magazines and agencies. In december 2006 his
coffe-table book "HEIMAT HAFEN" about the port of Hamburg was published.
He lives and works in Hamburg and Berlin.
